Great Way to Show off your Romantics Albums
Mar 5th, 2007 at 7:54am

I was in Michael's Arts & Crafts toda-- all of their "Album frame"s are onsale for 50% off...
In other words $5 vs/ $10... Smiley

I snapped up 12 frames and put 8 of my albums in the frames... (I have more albums, but they are are just extended mixes, therefore they don't have a fancy album cover... Smiley Unfortuately the compilation album "Exposed" was a double album and won't fit....

Does anyone know if the Made in Detroit Album was ever cut on Vinyl?

I have a bunch of Detroit compilation albums going back to the 80s. Who is on the made in Detroit album? I would have to really dig to find that stuff.

I don't believe that was pressed on vinyl, just cassette and CD.

Sorry. I misunderstood. I thought that we were talking about one of those local compilations that came out in the 80s. There were a bunch of them like the Detroit On A Platter album. I thought that there was a local compilation called Made In Detroit. OOPS!

Those are a very good idea!  They even have them for CD's.  I think it holds 9 CD's per frame.  Pretty much the same size as the album frame. Smiley

Not a bad idea!  I've got one of those comilations you were talking about too. I've got the Midwest Pop Explosion LP which had two songs on there that weren't released on anything else.

I have dupes of some of the albums... Smiley  so I pulled the sleeves out and put them in the frames as well (my original (well-played) records didn't have the fancy sleeves, so when I found them with the original sleeves, I bought dupes.)

Currently, I have 3 album covers / sleeves put in frames. The "Exposed" album was a double album and wouldn't fit...

Other than that, I don't have any others (so far).  I have to dig up some of my posters and get frames for them as well...

I also found an original print of Rhythm Romance (still in a (beat up) plastic wrap....)

My  next project is to paint the basement wall so that I have a place to put the albums... Smiley
