It seems every year I am out of town for the Superbowl!  I will be watching it on the big screen with everyone else!  I will however go to the NFL Experience!  I love looking back through football history, old jerseys, past Superbowl rings, old footballs, etc.

All that matters is that the Good Ol' Midwest will be the Champions.

This part of the globe gave us The Romantics, Iggy and the Stooges, Cheap Trick, Alice Cooper, Motown, and some of the biggest and baddest cars that have ever hit the road.

Good Luck Colts and Bears, thanks for brining the trophy back to the region it is named after.

Oh yeah, it's cheaper to watch from at home and the line to the bathroom is much, much shorter.

and to add even more sentimentality to this super bowl, did you know that you can hear our very own, Chloe F. Orwell (yes, mrs. brad elvis)  on a CD of original Chicago Bears football themed songs called Bear Fight Songs?    Chloe appears on a song called All Aboard,  which i hear was also co-produced by mr. brad himself!
how cool is this?

Go Bears!!

I want to see the Bears win but with 2min left in the game I doubt there is any way they are going to come back now.  At least the officials were fair in the calls this year unlike last years horrible officials.   Cool

anybody have any comments on prince's performance?
truthfully, i only watched about 2 minutes of the game, 30 seconds of prince and a few of the commercials.

I left the room during halftime to make a food run!  Someone had to do it!  Any interesting commercials worth mentioning?

Actually, I found all of the commercials online! http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/postseason/superads  Not only that, but found Prince's performance also! http://www.princefams.com/viewtopic.php?id=8336  Probably won't keep that one up for long!

The game was good, Prince put on a good half-time show, the commercials stunk this year.   Cool

Everyone seemed to be talking about a candy bar commercial today that was  supposedly homophobic.  At least that was what the hype was about.  I didn't see it.

just an fyi, the group that is displeased with the gm robot suicide commercial and is behind its removal/revamping, is the american foundation for suicide prevention who is the very same group i did the 5k walk for last summer.  it was a truly tasteless commercial.

Don't you think that we are really getting a little too politically correct? Everybody is offended by something. As far as that snickers commercial, I thought it was funny when those guys started ripping hair from their chests. Homophobic? That term cracks me up. Makes no sense. A phobia is a fear of something. Who the hell is afraid of a bunch of limp wrists?
