i was "shocked" at the placement of the song.
have they done all 100 yet or will they do them 20 per episode?
after the romantics letdown, i found it incredibly boring to watch.
just want to know which song was "voted" #1.

Those VH1 shows are all the same.  It's not about the music;  it's about the stories and the personalities.

I caught the end last night.  Here are VH1's top 5:

1)  Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi
2)  Pour Some Sugar on Me - Def Leppard
3)  Hungry Like A Wolf - Duran Duran
4)  Billie Jean - Michael Jackson
5)  When Doves Cry - Prince

My opinion:
L A M E

Obviously, they didn't use the votes from the website--hell, you can still vote today!!

I finally caught the Romantics on VH1's greatest songs of the 80's. I dont agree with the placement of the song, but it was more kool publicity for the band!

AAACK!!!! I HATE "Pour some Sugar On Me"!!!  When I was in college, my air-headed, blonde sorority girl roommate (sorry to anyone on here who was ever in a sorority, but she really fit the stereotype well) taped it (yes, tape) about a gazillion times on a cassette.   One day, that cassette met an ill fate when it mysteriously "wound itself" around the tape recorder.... What a shame...  Roll Eyes

Oh, and I'd rate the whole Romantics collection above any of those songs....

If i had to choose any of those songs, I would say that maybe I'd pick the Duran Duran song over the others, but honestly, there were many other songs that I would have chosen over these 5 songs!
