As a Vegas regular, I can tell you a good rule to follow is never go against a hot team....I like Colorado
for this reason; the only thing that scares me is they will have been off for eight days and that may
actually cool them off..........

Will the Lions actually make the playoffs this year ?!

Exactly my thoughts and that is exactly what happened!  A 34 minute 5th inning!  Can you imagine?!!!!  I turned it off at 13-1!  Can't even think what the final score will be!!!!

Bookies, I even bought a pink (yes, pink) Tigers shirt at Sam's club.... AND Eric and I went to see a game in April. (the one where they scores 19 runs). Now THAT was a GOOD game.....

Don't know what's the deal with them! I think maybe they need to have the Romantics play a gig prior to a show--that might put enough fires under their butts to win a game... What do you think?!!!

the trouble starts at the top
leyland has too many "pets"
dombrowski too
its too political
the players couldnt possibly be motivated
i dont blame the players at all

now, a romantics gig on the pepsi porch might be just what the doctor ordered!

It all starts with the Curse of Sheffield.  He's a cancer.  I warned you all.

doesnt it seem the more stars teams add the seem to struggle, or just not play good together. as for sheff he is due for retirement soon so his curse will be out of everyones line up.

Sorry Tiger fans.First my Yankees dumped Sheffield on you,and now Kyle Farnsworth.
Farnsworth wasn't too bad this year, but every time he took the mound my stomach would tighten up.Glad to have Pudge in NY,even if it's only until the end of this season.

yep, it seems that the yankees did get the best end of the deal.
farnsworth was here a few years back and if we didnt want him then, why would we trade pudge to get him now?
another great executive decision i suppose.
between dombrowski and leyland, the tigers are destined to return to their losing record.

As a Yankee fan,I was kinda glad to see Sheffield go.He's a helluva player, but he disrupts every clubhouse for every team he has ever played with.Maybe Leyland will keep him in line, but I doubt it.

Well,it took 2 seasons, but Sheffield wore out his welcome in Detroit when The Tigers put him on waivers this week. You guys would know better than me,but I heard it was Leyland's decision because of Sheffield's non-stop complaining about playing time.
Anybody shocked? HA!

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows that the Dodgers just defeated Philadelphia in a four game sweep.  First time since 1946.  Go Dodger Blue. Wink

im not surprised sheffield wore out his welcome..... hes known to do that after 3 to 4 years with a team. yes!!!! go dodger blue!!!! its a weekend of blue with the brewers in town and due to be sent home winless. its the dodgers being the dodgers  Cool

rodriguez trade...... i was shocked but then learned he wasnt playing as a full time catcher etc. hes getting to the age where teams trade that player that makes us go hhhmmmmmmmm. ivan started in the big leagues very young and still has a good couple of years left he he stays healthy and is given oppurtunity.
