Hey there! Wow, the snow yesterday was a shock!! But my hubby & I went snowshoeing for a few hours with one of our friends-- it was a lot of fun--I'd rather play in the snow than drive in it!

Yeah, we got up almost a foot and a half here on Saturday.  Who needs a health club when you've got a corner lot to shovel!

In Philly, we almost got a foot of snow - brings me back to thinking of WHAT warm climate I can relax in and WHEN!

hey brew, old and good shape doesn't mean anything... you never know what could trigger a heart attack!

My friend's brother-in-law had one when he was only 25!

Just saying to not over exert yourself that's all... Smiley

If we had 70 degrees now it would create great floods from all this snow melting.....but I'd take it!

Yes, I agree with oldfriend-- when it was 50 degrees a few weeks ago, our backyard flooded and one of our neighbors' front yard was completely under water.... (on top of that our sump pump decided to freeze up from all of the water-- luckily our basement is just above the water table, and we only got a little bit of dampness!)

To everyone with snow...I hope you all stay warm and safe, especially on the roads.  I don't know how we missed it in MO but we did.  Of course, now it's threatening snow/ice as I am about to embark on my journey to KC on Friday to see Cheap Trick.  I'm still gonna go, nothing can keep me away!

We got pelted with the ice on Saturday.  No problems, though.....didn't lose our power.  It all melted on Sunday.
