There are only two ways to live your life. One as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

Just don't plan the outcome."

Si quaeris peninsulam amoenam circumspice.
(If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you).

Not only is this the State Motto of Michigan, I believe in it myself and use it as my philosophy in my artwork!

Yes, although many of our quotes are from men--isn't that interesting?

"Somewhere Between A Flower And A Chainsaw"

Meaning...some days I am colorful, more rooted
and can just sway in the breeze of life...
other days I am loud, aggressive and will
slice, dice and cut everything around me to pieces.

I adopted this term in my sober life...
Today, I am leaning more toward chainsaw.

Here's a funny little one I say...
(or used to, before everybody got SO SERIOUS)

"If it ever comes down to a hostage situation, I know the first 10 bodies I'm throwing out the window!"

OR...

"I won't kill ALL the hostages!"

They don't find it as humorous there these days.
Darn terrorists have to wreck all my good material!

Have a great day...

the Optimist expects it to change
