Title: Request For Anyone Hearing A Song From 61/49
Post by solodka on Jul 28th, 2007 at 4:00am
There has been a request made to please keep track of any Romantics song that you hear on the radio and in any public place.  Be it in a stadium, on satellite radio, etc.  Please note the title of the song, time, date and station or state that you heard it on or in.  Whatever info you could give and keep track of would be wonderful and most helpful!

Thanks for helping the band out with this.  Your help is greatly appreciated!   :)

What kind of a show is that you are watching?   :)And that would have been at what time?  Was it The Romantics version?

On NBC - Tuesday Nights. at 9 (?) after America's Got Talent...

They have contestants sing lyrics to songs.. Nope, it wasn't the Romantics version--they had a live band play it!  Either way, the contestant screwed up the lyrics.... (Tonight was "80's night") I don't recall if Joey Fattone said anything about the song being by the Romantics, but my hubby saw the subtitle on the screen and he said it mentioned The Romantics there.

Thanks, but unless we are more specific with times and stations and dates, there is nothing to check it against.  Is it part of the trailer for The Simpson's movie?

The date is fine.  It seems the song/album however, is not.  Anything off of 61/49.  Don't worry, Buyadodge, it happens to the best of us! ;)

This is your Milwaukee Correspondent reporting again...............the song "Devil in Me" was played on Sirius Satellite Radio 25 (the Garage Rock station) at approximately 8:22 pm CDT on Tuesday, June 9, 2009.

And it sounded pretty damn good, right between Social Distortion and the Byrds.  It's been quite awhile since I've heard anything played off of 61/49.

Yeah, I think that LSUG is one of the only stations that has any taste!!!   LOL!  Steven Van Zandt also picked one of the songs off of 61/49 for one of the coolest songs on his collective CD!
